New patient appointments are approximately 60 minutes.
Follow-up visits are generally approximately 30 minutes, depending on your treatment needs and scheduled services.

Chiropractic Care and Adjustments

Chiropractic care focuses on the evaluation and conservative management of nerve and musculoskeletal concerns involving the joints, muscles, and related structures.

We commonly work with patients experiencing back pain, neck pain, headaches with musculoskeletal contributors, shoulder pain, hip and knee pain, sciatica, disc-related pain, muscle strains and sprains, joint stiffness, tendinitis, overuse injuries, sports injuries, and movement restrictions.
We also provide recovery, mobility, performance, pediatric, and wellness-focused services.
The sound sometimes heard during an adjustment is associated with pressure changes and gas within the joint.
A popping sound is not required for an adjustment or treatment to be effective.

Insurance, Pricing, and Payment

Better You Chiropractic and Wellness does not participate as an in-network provider with traditional health insurance plans.
However, patients with out-of-network benefits may be eligible for reimbursement depending on their individual insurance plan.
Unfortunately, we do not verify your out-of-network insurance benefits. However, you may call the number on the back of your insurance card to access information about your plan’s out-of-network chiropractic benefits.
We would be happy to provide you with a detailed receipt or Superbill to submit to your insurance company, which may apply to your plan’s deductible and/or other benefits.
Yes.
Upon request, we can provide an itemized receipt or superbill that you may submit to your health insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Reimbursement depends on your individual insurance plan and is not guaranteed by our office.
Current appointment types and pricing are available through our online scheduling system.
This allows you to review available services and associated costs before booking your appointment.
We accept exact cash, major credit and debit cards, and eligible HSA and FSA payment methods. We do not currently accept CareCredit.
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Patients who miss an appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice may be responsible for the full scheduled visit amount.

Mobile and Concierge Chiropractic Care

Yes.
Our mobile and concierge chiropractic services bring personalized care to select homes, offices, gyms, athletic environments, and events.
Availability is based on location, scheduling, and the services requested.
Mobile and concierge appointments are generally available within approximately 20 miles of our Atlanta or Suwanee office locations.
Service outside of our standard mobile area may be considered based on scheduling and availability.

Nutrition and Supplements

Nutritional Response Testing is a noninvasive assessment used within our practice to help guide individualized nutritional and wellness recommendations. Gentle muscle testing (applied kinesiology) is used to evaluate neurological reflexes and assess the body’s autonomic nervous system responses to determine underlying stressors, like food sensitivities or toxicity, and recommend targeted whole-food supplements.
